The SVLA was established in June of 1998 meeting the third Thursday of every month at the Sterling Federal Bank, 110 East 4th St., Sterling. at 7pm. If you are thinking about being a landlord or already are one, please contact one of the officers or directors! Every month there is a newsletter, and files on forciable entry and detainer list of court ordered evications that is in the newsletter for our members. The Sauk Valley Newspaper and Dixon Telegraph gives our members a 10% discount for advertizing a house or apartment for rent. 10 % discount at Sterling and Rock Falls Do It Best Hardware (Grummert's Hardware) When we have speakers the meetings are video taped, so if you miss a meeting you can watch it at home. Dues are $50.00 for a 12 month membership.
